07:46 am - Missing it . . .
I am a submissive who is not currently in a D/s relationship.  I am a lesbian who in outside life is very feminist and outspoken but I miss the lifestyle terribly as I have found that it is great to be someone different for a while. Does anyone else have a similar story or advice on how to fill this gap that I have created for myself?

I keep seeing your post, and wanted to say hello. I hope you find your someone. yes...feminism and D/s are not exactly bedfellows. But everything is possible! Do you like Pat Califia?

I'm a feminist and sexually submissive, and I've seen many other women on LJ who are the same way. Sexual dominance, in some men (I identify as mostly-striaght) is something I find extremely arousing. I no longer waste my time worrying that this tendency means there's something wrong with me. I don't think men are "better" than women. I simply find that some modes of presentation and behavior in men "do the trick" for me.

Getting back to you, in particular--I believe there are also many lesbian feminists in D/s relationships. While some feminists think that one can't be both submissive and feminist, many others disagree strongly!
